Part One: Infertility and a Woman's Desire to Have a Child

As women approached their advanced maternal age (35 and older) the issue of infertility can be a pressing concern. Single women may desire a child but without a partner feel stuck about future pregnancies. Women in relationships desiring to have a child or two may face infertility and all the pressures that come from themselves and from society.

Is my womanhood in question if I am unable to bear a biological child? How late is too late to have children? I have had multiple miscarriages, can I still have a child?

Dr. Angela Richard-Eaglin (DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, CNE, FAANP) and I discuss these issues and much more.
